Routing Tensioning Bands 4 and 5







Routing Tensioning Bands 4 and 5

All screws are microencapsulated and must always be replaced.

Screw tightening torque: 3.5 Nm.






Tensioning band => [ Routing Tension Band 1 ] Routing Tension Band 1 and tensioning bads 2 and 3, refer to => [ Routing Tensioning Bands 2 and 3 ] Routing Tensioning Bands 2 and 3 are secured.

- Raise rear window frame and remove Hinge Supports (VAS 6365).

- Close hydraulic pump bypass screw and close roof.

- Carefully press tensioned headliner - 1 - and roof pillar trim - 7 - apart and secure double eye - 4 - on main hinge arm. Direction of double eye is parallel to edge of outrigger.

- Secure tensioning band - 5 - on end eye - 6 - on outside of main hinge in upper threaded connection.

- Pull tensioning band - 2 - between main hinge and water drain hose.

- Secure the end eyes - 3 - in the lower threaded connection on the outside of the main hinge.
