• Align exhaust system when cold.

Procedure

- Loosen the bolts for the front clamp - 1 -.






- Align the clamping sleeve on the front exhaust pipe, allowing for dimension - a -. - Arrow - indicates direction of travel. Dimension - a - = 5 mm.






• The connections must be at the right and must not project beyond the lower edge of the clamping sleeve.

- Hand-tighten the front connections.

- Push the exhaust system far enough forward so that the pretension at the retaining loop at rear muffler dimension - a - is 15 to 17 mm.






- In this position, evenly tighten the nuts - 3 and 4 - on the clamping sleeves to 25 Nm.
