Seat, Easy Entry Feature Inoperative, 2 Door Models ONLY

After operating front seat easy entry feature, the following conditions may occur:

1. Seat does not return to its original position.

2. Seat does not move forward after folding backrest

3. Seat rattles when moving back.

Technical Background

Incorrect operation of seat easy entry feature mechanical components.

1. Friction pad in seat rail is missing or broken.

2. Bowden cable is not correctly adjusted on seat rail.

3. Plate for Bowden cable is broken on seat frame.

Production Solution

Inspection to ensure friction pad is operating properly.

Optimize Bowden cable adjusting process.

Improvement/reinforcement of the plate for Bowden cable.
