Flange Shaft and Bevel Box Seals Overview
1 Nut
• 480 Nm
• Always replace.
• For the output flange.
2 Bevel Box Output Flange
3 Output Flange Cover Cap
• Only replace if damaged.
4 Seal
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Bevel Box Output Flange and Seal ] Bevel Box Output Flange and Seal.
5 Seal
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Seal, Between the Transmission and Bevel Box, Bevel Box Side ] Seal, Between the Transmission and Bevel Box, Bevel Box Side.
6 Bevel Box
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Bevel Box ] Bevel Box.
7 Oil Drain Plug
• M6 bolt: 15 Nm.
• M8 bolt: 60 Nm.
• For the bevel box
8 Seal
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Right Flange Shaft Seal ] Right Flange Shaft Seal.
9 Fill and Inspection Plug
• 15 Nm
• For the bevel box.
• Always replace.
10 Bolt
• 30 Nm
11 Countersunk Bolt
• 30 Nm
• Always replace.
12 Right Flange Shaft
13 Seal
• Always replace after removing the right flange shaft.
14 Bearings
• The needle bearings (polygon bearings) are difficult to move when the flange shaft is removed. Difficulty in movement is not an indication of faulty bearings. A test for noisy bearings can only be performed with the bearings installed.
• Check for damage on the bearing, for example, cracks on outer race, replace if necessary.
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Right Flange Shaft Needle Bearing ] Right Flange Shaft Needle Bearing.
15 Bearings
• The needle bearings (polygon bearings) are difficult to move when the flange shaft is removed. Difficulty in movement is not an indication of faulty bearings. A test for noisy bearings can only be performed with the bearings installed.
• Check for damage on the bearing, for example, cracks on outer race, replace if necessary.

16 Lock Ring
• Always replace after removing.
