Rear Window Frame Lock Sensors






- Open the roof with the convertible top switch until it is just before the position shown.

- Place Hinge Supports (VAS 6365) in lowest position - 2 -.

- Place the hinge supports (VAS 6365) in the mounting hole in the main hinge - 1 - and rotate the base - 4 - so that it is not positioned in the opening in the longitudinal.

- Open bypass screw on hydraulic pump, this depressurizes the hydraulic system.

- Place supports in center position - 2 -.

- Secure supports on rear window frame locking mechanism - 1 -.

- Lower rear window frame until supports - 4 - are positioned on longitudinal member - 5 -.

• All screws are microencapsulated and must always be replaced.

• Sensor consists of 2 parts, magnet is secured on locking hooks in main hinge.






- Remove screw - 2 - and remove sensor - 1 - from striker pin - 4 -.

When replacing sensor, disconnect wire - 3 - approximately 130 mm from sensor, between cable brackets. Wiring harness repair description.After repairing wiring harness, wiring must be secured in harness again.

Tightening specification for screw - 2 -: 3 Nm.
