Removal


• Note usage and safety notes for halogen lamps, refer to => [ Application and Safety
Notes ] Halogen Headlamps.

• During removal and installation, leave ignition key with remote control inside the vehicle to prevent the doors from locking and possibly activating the Coming Home / Leaving Home functions on its own.

In order to be able to replace the bulb, it is sometimes necessary to remove neighboring components at the corresponding headlamp.

- Refer to the following table as to which components are to be removed depending on engine version, in order to replace the bulb.






• The following figures show the replacement of the right headlamp bulb.

• The left headlamp bulb is replaced is the same way.

- Disengage retaining bracket - 3 - from housing cover - 1 - and remove housing cover from retainers - arrows -.






- Rotate lamp socket - 2 - with front turn signal lamp counterclockwise and remove it from reflector.






- Push lamp into socket, rotate it counterclockwise and pull it out of lamp socket.

Installation






• The lamp socket tab - arrow A - must face upward during installation.

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

- Check headlamp for function.
