Windows, Front, May Not Close Completely at Times
Front door windows may not rise after short drop feature when door(s) are closed.
Technical Background
This condition occurs due to a low voltage pulse from the engine start sequence when door(s) are open. This is considered normal.
The door module is programmed to allow window to remain open slightly if battery voltage is lost. This function allows the door to be closed without damaging a door seal or window.
Production Solution
Not applicable.
Service
To reset this function, press driver side door unlock button or perform a key cycle.
NOTE:
DO NOT replace door modules for this condition. Door modules replaced for this condition will be debited.
