Headlamp: Adjustments

Headlamps, with Headlamp Washer System, Correcting Installation Position, GTI

- Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

- Remove the front bumper cover.

- Loosen mounting bolt - arrow - at top of headlamp.





- Loosen the mounting bolt - arrow - at the bottom of the headlamp.





- Loosen the mounting bolt - arrow - at the inside of the headlamp.





- Adapt the surface alignment to the body by installing or loosening the adjustment bushing - arrow - at the bottom or top of the headlamp.





- Tighten all threaded connections to the specification. Refer to=> [ Fastener Tightening Specifications ] Fastener Tightening Specifications.

- Check and if necessary correct installation position of headlamp again for uniform gap dimension.

- Install the front bumper cover.

- Check headlamp for function.

• If a headlamp is removed or adapted to the body, it must always be adjusted after installing or after adapting.

- Check headlamp adjustment and adjust headlamp if necessary
