Coolant Hose Connection Diagram





1 Radiator

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Radiator ] Service and Repair.

• Replace the coolant after replacing.

2 Coolant Pump (V50)

3 Coolant Thermostat Housing

• With thermostat.

4 Auxiliary Heater

• Only with optional equipment.

5 Coolant Pump

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Coolant Pump ] Service and Repair.

6 Cylinder Head/Cylinder Block

• Replace the coolant after replacing.

7 Turbocharger

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Turbocharger ] Turbocharger.

8 Expansion Tank

• With sealing cap.

• Checking pressure relief valve in cap, refer to => [ Pressure Relief Valve in Cap, Checking ] Cooling System, Checking For Leaks.

9 Heater Core of Heater

• Replace the coolant after replacing.

10 Hose

• Only for the DSG transmission.

11 Transmission Oil Cooler

• Replace the coolant after replacing.

• Only for the DSG transmission.

12 Bypass Thermostat

• Checking, refer to => [ Bypass Thermostat Assembly Overview ] Bypass Thermostat Assembly Overview.

• Only on the DSG transmission.
