• 1 Always replace

• 2 Tighten the bolts from the inside working toward the outside in several stages.

Cylinder Head Cover Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification





- Tighten the cylinder head cover bolts in the sequence shown and in stages to 10 Nm

Cylinder Head Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification





- Tighten the cylinder head bolts in the sequence shown as follows:

• Tighten the bolts a first pass to 40 Nm

• Tighten the bolts a second pass an additional 90° (1/4 turn)

• Tighten the bolts a final pass an additional 90° (1/4 turn)
