Headlamp Beam Adjustment Motors (V48)/(V49), Visteon

• If the motors are removed and installed, check the headlamp position and adjust it if necessary.

• The illustrations show replacing on a left headlamp.


• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove the key.

Removal

- Remove the headlamp. Refer to=> [ Headlamps ] Headlamps.

- Remove the cap - 1 - in - direction of arrow -.






- Turn the left headlamp beam adjustment motor (V48) - 1 - in - direction of arrow -.






- Disconnect the connector - 1 -.






- Move the left headlamp beam adjustment motor so that it is possible to pull the ball head - 2 - on the left headlamp beam adjustment motor in - direction of arrow - out of the ball head mount - 1 -.






- Remove the left headlamp beam adjustment motor from the headlamp.

Installation

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Carefully insert the left headlamp beam adjustment motor - 1 - ball head into the ball head guide - arrow -.







When installing the cover cap, make sure the cap is properly seated. It is destroyed by entry of water into headlamp.

- Check headlamp for functions.

- Check and adjust the headlamp adjustment.
