Brake Pedal Assembly Overview


The path of the brake pedal must not be shortened via extra floor mats.

Grease all bearing areas using Grease (G 000 602) before assembling.





1 Mounting Bracket

• Allocation refer to the.

2 Nut, 25 Nm

• Self-locking

• Always replace after removal.

3 Brake Light Switch (F)

• Includes Brake Pedal Switch (F47).

• On vehicles from CW 50/05, brake light switch is located on brake master cylinder.

• Clip brake pedal at pressure rod of brake booster before installing brake light switch. Refer to => [ Hold ball head of push rod in front of
mounting and push brake pedal in direction of brake booster, so the ball head
locates audibly. ] Separating and Connecting Brake Pedal and Booster.

• Lubricate plunger head with Polycarbamide grease (G 052 142 A2).

• Adjust brake light switch. Refer to => [ Brake Light Switch, through 10.05.2005 ] .
