Technical Background





Front leading edge of rear door(s) is contacting front door skin bolt plastic cover when opening.





Plastic clips (3) that attach outer door skin bolt cover to front door are too long.

Production Solution

Install updated replacement clip Part No. 1K6837200B as of VIN 1K_9M011056.

Service

^ Check and adjust all door gaps, see Body Collision Repair, General technical data, Specifications, Body panel gaps in ElsaWeb.





If gaps are within specification:

^ Replace door skin plastic cover clips (3) with Part No. 1K6837200B.

^ Install cover onto door and close front door.

^ Check for proper clearance by opening rear door.
