CAUTION!
Prior to working on the electrical system:
• Obtain the radio system anti-theft code.
• Switch off all electrical consumers.
• Switch off the ignition and remove the ignition key.
• Disconnect the battery.
• Familiarity with the function and operation is essential in the event of customer concerns. Refer to the Owner's Manual.
• Anti-theft coding is equipped with protection code number, deactivating electronic anti-theft system, refer to => [ Anti-Theft Coding, Activating ] Programming and Relearning.
• When performing Servicing or Fault Finding use Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B).
• After connecting the battery, check all the vehicle accessories, for example, the radio, the clock, the Comfort packages. Refer to the Owner's Manual.
Premium V radio systems can be equipped with a cassette or CD player depending on the version. These have been installed at the start of production. Refer to => [ Premium V Overview ] Premium V Overview.
The Premium V - Monsoon can have a cassette player or a CD player. These have been installed as optional equipment starting 10.00. Refer to => [ Premium V - Monsoon Overview ] Premium V - Monsoon Overview.
