Hood Release Cable





1 Hood Release Cable

• Removing:

- Remove operating lever and unclip hood release cable on lock and in engine compartment.

- Remove lower A-pillar trim.

- Secure a welding wire or similar - approx. 1000 mm in length on cable nipple (operating lever) and pull out cable from engine compartment side.

• Installing:

- Use welding wire or similar as auxiliary pulling tool.

Operating Lever





1 Lower A-Pillar Trim Panel

2 Operating Lever

• Removing:

- Pull operating lever approx. 2 cm.

- Insert a small screwdriver into gap between operating lever and clip - 3 -.

- Release operating lever and unclip the clip from operating lever (clip falls behind trim).

• Installing:

- Engage clip - 3 - completely in operating lever.

- Press operating lever onto mount in mounting bracket.

- Check function before closing hood.
