Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch (F125)
Component location: Multi-function switch is located at left, front of transmission, removing=> [ Multi-Function Transmission Range Switch ] Service and Repair.
Valve body
Component location: Valve body is bolted on to transmission housing below and covered by transmission oil pan.
Solenoid Valve 1 (N88) and Solenoid Valve 2 (N89) as well as Automatic Transmission Pressure Regulating Valve 5 (N233), Solenoid Valve 4 (N91), Solenoid Valve 5 (N92), Solenoid Valve 6 (N93), Automatic Transmission Pressure Regulating Valve 4 (N218) and Automatic Transmission Pressure Regulating Valve 6 (N371) are secured to the valve body.
Wiring harness, 8-pin
• With integrated Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor (G93) - arrow -

Shift Lock Solenoid (N110 )
Component location: Shift Lock Solenoid is located in the shift mechanism - arrow -.
Tiptronic Switch (F189)
Component location: Tiptronic Switch (F189 ) is integrated into circuit board, which is located in shift mechanism cover.
It consists of hall sensors, which are activated by a magnet - arrow - on transverse slide of cover strip - 2 -.
If there are malfunctions, it must first be checked whether the magnet - arrow - on transverse slide of cover strip - 2 - is secured correctly, replace cover strips if necessary. Selector mechanism cover with integrated circuit board must only be replaced after checking the wires.
In vehicles with multi-function steering wheel, buttons on steering wheel and their wire connections must also be checked.
Data Link Connector (DLC)
Component location: Data Link Connector (DLC) - arrow - is located on left side under driver-side storage compartment.
Transmission Range (TR) Display (Y6) for vehicles up to model year 2005
