Door, Adjusting
• The vehicle must be resting on its wheels to adjust the front door.
• The front door is adjusted properly when it has an even gap dimension overall when closed, it does not rest too far in or out and the contours align.
• Perform corrosion protection measures on the hinge and bolts after assembly or adjusting work.
For correct gap dimension adjustment, screws - 5, 7, 9 and 11 - at A-pillar must be loosened. The lower A-pillar trim must be removed for the screw - 5 -.
Other measures, such as aligning the door upward, are not effective. Excess pressure thereafter will again cause the door to sag.
Bolts - 2, 4 and 12 - must be loosened to adjust flush dimension correctly.
For this, the (3320) with the (3320/3) must be used.
