Cylinder Head Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification
- Then tighten cylinder head bolts in the tightening sequence shown as follows:








Replace cylinder head bolts.

Checking Cylinder Head for Distortion
Check the cylinder head at multiple points for distortion with a 500 mm straight edge VAS 6075 and feeler gauges.

Max. permissible distortion 0.1 mm

Guide Frame

Gently tighten bolts from inside working toward outside in several stages.





Then tighten bolts in designated sequence 8 Nm + 1/4 additional turn (90 degree)

Camshaft sprocket
Tighten 50 Nm + 180 degree (1/2 turn) additional turn
