Fastener Tightening Specifications








Cylinder Head Cover Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification
- Tighten cylinder head cover bolts in several stages in designated sequence to 10 Nm.





Cylinder Head Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification
- Then tighten cylinder head bolts in the tightening sequence shown as follows:





Replace cylinder head bolts.





Guide Frame Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification
- Tighten bolts from inside working toward outside in several stages.
- Then tighten bolts in designated sequence to 8 Nm + 1/4 additional turn (90 degree).

Bearing cap
Tighten 65 Nm + 90 degree (1/4 turn) additional turn

Connecting rod bolt
Tighten 30 Nm + 90 degree (1/4 additional turn)

Flywheel

Oil Pump Cover
Tighten 8 Nm

Coolant pump
Coolant pump to cylinder block 15 Nm
