^ Assembly Tool T10267 with adapter T10267/1A
^ Tube from assembly tool T10244/3

Bonded rubber bushing, pressing out
- Remove subframe.





- Install Assembly Tool T10267 - 4 - on subframe. Secure safety bolts using securing pins.

5. Tube T10244/3

- Press out both bonded rubber bushings simultaneously, as depicted in illustration.

Note:
^ Flat side of thrust piece 3372/1 must face insert - A - of assembly tool T10267, otherwise insert may be damaged.
^ Tube T10244/3 has a larger and a smaller diameter. Subframe must rest on large inner diameter of tube T10244/3.

Bonded rubber bushing, pressing in





- Bolt both bonded rubber bushings onto original bolt, cutouts - arrows - must align.





- Insert bolted bonded rubber bushings, with bolt head downward, into large diameter of tube T10214/2.

6. Thrust plate VW 401





- Press bonded rubber bushing - 1 - in until dimension - a - is reached.

Dimension - a - = 2 - 3 mm.





- Align tube T10214/2 on subframe with pressed in bonded rubber bushings. Edges of bonded rubber bushing inner core - 1 - must run on imaginary line parallel to edge of assembly tool T10267 - 2 -.

Distance - a - must be identical at left and right to guarantee parallelism.
- Place subframe onto smaller inner diameter of tube T10244/3.





- Press in mounting onto stop, and until force of 20 Nm is reached.

5. Tube T10214/1
- Remove assembly tool T10267 from subframe and check seating of pressed in bonded rubber bushing.





^ Outer diameter - 1 - of both bonded rubber bushings may project up to 2 mm over edge in area of opening for pendulum support.
^ Cutouts in bonded rubber bushings must be in center of subframe opening.
^ Gap - arrow - between bonded rubber bushings is permissible.
- Install subframe.
