Transmission Control Module (TCM) J217 - arrow.
Location: Control module is located in left front wheel housing.
- For removal or installation, wheel housing liner must be removed.





Multi-Function Transmission Range Switch F125
Location: The multi-function switch is located on upper side of transmission.





Valve Body
Location: Valve body is bolted to underside of transmission housing and is covered by transmission oil pan.

Solenoid valves N88 and N89 as well as pressure control valves N90, N91, N92, N93, N282 and N283 are secured to valve body.





Sensor wiring harness
^ With integrated Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor G93 - arrow.

Location: Wiring harness is secured to valve body in transmission.





Solenoid valve wiring harness
Location: Wiring harness is secured to valve body in transmission.





Automatic Transmission Hydraulic Pressure Sensor 1 G193 and Automatic Transmission Hydraulic Pressure Sensor 2 G194
This sensor is not installed in all transmissions.

Location:
The automatic transmission hydraulic pressure sensor 1 G193 - 1 - and the automatic transmission hydraulic pressure sensor 2 G194 are installed in the valve body.





Transmission Input Speed (RPM) Sensor G182 and Transmission Output Speed (RPM) Sensor G195
Location: Sensors are installed above valve body in transmission housing.

Tiptronic Switch F189
Location: The Tiptronic switch is integrated in shift mechanism.

For vehicles with multi-function steering wheel, also buttons on steering wheel and corresponding wire connections must be checked.





Data Link Connector (DLC)
Location: Data Link Connector (DLC) - arrow - is located on left side under driver-side storage compartment.
