ATF, Filling

- Install oil filling adapter (VAS 6262/2) hand tight with engine running.





- Fill 1 liter ATF.

- Tighten oil filler adapter (VAS 6262) to quick release coupling and check:

If ATF flows out of adapter hole:

ATF does not need to be topped off.

- Allow ATF to drain until it drips.

- Tighten sealing plug with new seal to 15 Nm. The ATF check is now completed.

If ATF does not drip:

- Add another liter => [ ATF, Filling ] ATF, Filling.

CAUTION!
If the ATF level is too high or too low it will adversely affect the operation of the transmission. If 2 liters are missing, you should check the transmission more closely. There is probably a larger leak.
