Clutch Overview, LuK





1 Dual Mass Flywheel

• Make sure the centering pins fit securely.

• Contact surface of the clutch plate must be free of grooves, oil and grease.

2 Clutch Plate

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Clutch, LuK ] Clutch, LuK.

• Only replace together with Self Adjusting Clutch (SAC) pressure plate.

• Installed position, refer to => [ Clutch Plate Installed
Position ] Clutch, LuK.

3 Self Adjusting Clutch (SAC) Pressure Plate

• Only replace together with the clutch plate.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Clutch, LuK ] Clutch, LuK.

• Checking the ends of the diaphragm spring, refer to => [ Checking Ends of the
Diaphragm Spring ] Clutch, LuK.

• Check the spring and rivet connections, refer to => [ Checking Spring and
Rivet Connections ] Clutch, LuK.

4 Bolt

• M6 = 13 Nm

• M7 = 20 Nm

• Loosen and tighten in small steps and in a diagonal sequence.
