1. 50 Nm + 1/4 turn (90 degree)

Install Bracket on Cylinder Block
- First tighten aligning bolts - 2 and 4 - hand tight.
- Then tighten bolts - 1, 3 and 5 - hand tight.
- Now tighten all bolts to a tightening specifications of 23 Nm in diagonal sequence.
Loosening and Tightening the Vibration Damper Bolt
- Secure the vibration damper with the counter-holder T10069 when loosening or tightening it.
- Clean the thread in the crankshaft with a M18 x 1.5 drilling tool.
- Replace the vibration damper bolt.
- Tighten bolt using torque wrench V.A.G 1601.
Tightening Specifications 100 Nm + 1/2 turn (180 degree).
