Electrical and Electronic Components and Locations





1 All wheel drive control module (J492)

• Comprises a unit together with the Haldex clutch control valve.

• A pressure sensor is also located in the control module.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ All Wheel Drive Control Module ] .

• Important signals from the Engine Control Module (ECM) and the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) control module are transmitted via data BUS to the all wheel drive control module.

2 Haldex clutch pump (V181)

• Can be tested in "Guided Fault Finding" with the vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system (VAS 5051).

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Haldex Clutch Pump ] Service and Repair.

3 Data Link Connector (DLC)

• Location: Left front footwell

4 Electromechanical parking brake button (E538)

• With electromechanical parking brake indicator lamp.

• Location: in instrument panel, near light switch.

5 Brake light switch (F)

• Can be tested in "Guided Fault Finding" with the vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system (VAS 5051).

All Wheel Drive Control Module (J492)





Location: Control module - A - is located on the rear final drive in the left front area.

Haldex Clutch Pump (V181)





Location: Haldex clutch pump - arrow - is located on the rear final drive in the right front area.

Brake Light Switch (F)





Location: Brake light switch - arrow - is located on the brake master cylinder.
