Mirror Adjustment Switch (E43)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

The following components are integrated in Mirror Adjustment Switch (depending on equipment):

• Mirror Selector Switch (E48)

• Outside Mirror Heating Switch (E231)

• Mirror Folding Switch (E263)

• Mirror Adjustment Switch Illumination (L78)

• When removing and installing components in visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), cover by taping the areas at which a prying tool ((3409), screwdriver) will be positioned using commercially available adhesive tape.

Removing:

- Switch ignition and all electrical consumers off and disengage the key or ignition switch in position 0 (ignition off).

- Carefully pry off grip panel at retaining lugs - arrows - using (3409).





- Disconnect the connector - arrow -.





- Disengage retaining tabs - arrows - and remove Mirror Adjustment Switch - 1 - from grip panel.





Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal.
