Air Filter, Assembly Overview





1 Spring-type clip

2 Air guide hose

• to turbocharger

• Check the air duct hose for dirt and leaves

3 Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor (G70)

• Removing and installing => [ Mass Air Flow Sensor, Removing and Installing ] Service and Repair

4 Screws

• 1.5 Nm

• for the upper part of the air filter housing

5 Screws

• 1.5 Nm

• for the upper part of the air filter housing

6 Upper part of air filter housing

• Clean the air filter housing-upper part of salt residue, dirt and leaves

7 Filter element

• always use a genuine air filter element

• Removing and installing => [ Air Filter Element, Removing and Installing ] Air Filter Element, Removing and Installing

• Note the change intervals=> Maintenance Tables

8 Bolt

• 8 Nm

• for the lower part of the air filter housing

9 Snow screen

• not equipped on all vehicles

10 Lower part of air filter housing

• Clean salt residue, dirt and leaves from the lower section of the air filter housing.

11 connection for the water drain hose

• Clean the connection

12 Water drain hose

• Clean the water drain hose

13 Shutter valve

14 Intake air guide

• To lock carrier

• Clean dirt and leaves from intake air guide
