High Pressure Pump With Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve Assembly Overview
CAUTION: Fuel system is under high pressure. Before opening the system, perform the procedure for releasing fuel pressure.
1 - Roller Tappet
- Remains inserted in cylinder head after removing the high-pressure pump, removable
2 - O-Ring
- Replace
3 - Mechanical Single-Piston High-Pressure Pump
- An electrical fuel pump, located in the fuel tank, supplies fuel to the mechanical high-pressure pump at a pressure of approximately 7 bar
- Make sure dirt does not enter the fuel system when installing the high pressure pump.
- The fuel system must be pressureless, releasing fuel pressure
- Do not install fuel lines with tension
4 - Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve

6 - Fuel injector
- Replace O-rings
- Note correct installation position
7 - Camshaft Position Sensor
8 - Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1
9 - High Pressure Pump Bolts
- 10 Nm
- Replace
10 - Connection for Fuel Line from Fuel Tank
11 - Connection for Fuel Line to Fuel Rail
- 22 Nm
