Engine, Securing to Engine and Transmission Holder

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Lifting tackle (3033)

• Shop crane (VAS 6100)

• Engine and transmission jack (VAG 1383A)

• Engine support (3269)

Secure the engine to the (VAS 6095) when working on it.

Procedure

- Remove the transmission.

- Install the (3033) as follows and lift the engine using the (VAS 6100) off of the (VAG 1383A).





Vibration damper side: Position 3.

Flywheel side: Position 11.

When Using the (VAS 6095) with Universal Mounts

- Secure the engine to the (VAS 6095) as shown.





If The (3269) Is Used

- Bolt the (3269) to the cylinder block as shown.
