Transmission Electrical and Electronic Components and Locations

The Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) electrical or electronic components are located in the transmission.

Only the selector lever sensor system control module and the shift lock solenoid are located on the selector lever.





1 Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) Mechatronic (J743 )

• Behind the large cover.

• Removing and installing with transmission installed. Refer to => [ Direct Shift Gearbox Mechatronic, Transmission Installed ] Direct Shift Gearbox Mechatronic, Transmission Installed.

2 Transmission Input Speed (RPM) Sensor (G182) and Clutch Oil Temperature Sensor (G509)
