Electrical and Electronic Component Locations





1 All-wheel drive control module (J492)

• Installed location => [ ]

• Comprises a unit together with Haldex clutch control valve (N373)

• A pressure sensor is also located in control module

• Removing and installing => [ All Wheel Drive Control Module ] All Wheel Drive Control Module.

• Important signals from engine control module and ABS control module (J104) are transmitted via data BUS to all-wheel drive control module (J492).

2 Haldex clutch pump (V181)

• Installed location => [ ]

• Can be checked in "Guided Fault Finding" with the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051B ) or vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5052)

• Removing and installing => [ Haldex Clutch Pump ] Service and Repair.

3 Data Link Connector (DLC)

• Location: Front left footwell, near hood opener

4 Parking brake warning light switch (F9)

• Installed location => [ ]

• Can be checked in "Guided Fault Finding" with the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051B ) or vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5052)

5 Brake light switch (F)

• Location: => [ ]

• Can be checked in "Guided Fault Finding" with the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051B ) or vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5052)

All-Wheel Drive Control Module (J492)





Location: Control module - A - is located in rear final drive in front left area.

Haldex Clutch Pump (V181 )





Location: Haldex clutch pump - arrow - is located on rear final drive in front right area.

Brake Light Switch (F)





Location: Brake light switch (F) is located on pedal assembly over brake pedal.

Parking Brake Warning Light Switch (F9)





Location: Switch - arrow - is located on handbrake lever.
