Timing Components: Specifications

Timing Chain Tensioner Bolts 10 Nm

Belt Pulley/Vibration Damper Bolts 50 Nm plus an additional 90° (1/4 turn)
Replace the bolts. Use only strength category 10.9.

Chain Case Cover To Cylinder Head 10 Nm

Control Housing Cover
First pass: All bolts hand tight
Second pass: All bolts in block and upper oil pan section 10 Nm
Final pass: All bolts in block and upper oil pan section 25 Nm
