1 Expansion Tank

• Perform a leak test on the cooling system using the cooling system tester (V.A.G 1274) and adapter (V.A.G 1274/8).

• Depending on optional equipment, the connection may be sealed with a blanking plug.

2 Cap

• Check using the cooling system tester (V.A.G 1274) and adapter (V.A.G 1274/9).

• Test pressure 1.4...1.6 bar.

3 Coolant Line

• to the fuel cooler pump (V166).

4 Coolant Line

Vehicles with engine code BKW:

• To the radiator => [ (Item 6) Radiator ] for generator and fuel cooling.

Vehicles with engine code BWF:

• To the radiator => [ (Item 6) Radiator ] for fuel cooling.

5 Coolant Hose

Vehicles with engine code BKW:

• From the radiator => [ (Item 6) Radiator ] for generator and fuel cooling.

Vehicles with engine codes BLE and BWF:

• From the radiator => [ (Item 6) Radiator ] for fuel cooling.

6 Radiator

Vehicles with engine code BKW:

• For the generator and fuel cooling.

Vehicles with engine code BWF:

• For fuel cooling.

7 Coolant Hose

• From the fuel cooler pump to the radiator => [ (Item 6) Radiator ].
