1 Expansion Tank

• Perform a leak test on the cooling system using the cooling system tester (V.A.G 1274) and adapter (V.A.G 1274/8).

2 Cap

• Check using the cooling system tester (V.A.G 1274) and adapter (V.A.G 1274/9).

• The pressure release valve must open at a pressure of 1.4 to 1.6 bar.

3 Connector

4 Spring Type Clip

• Check clip for secure seating.

5 Coolant Hose

6 to Coolant Return-Flow Pump Junction Piece

7 to Coolant Pipe

• Coolant pipe is secured below the intake manifold.

8 Overflow Hose

9 Bolt

• 10 Nm

10 Coolant Hose

11 to Top Coolant Hose

12 Bolt

• 8 Nm
