Refrigerant must be extracted before hand using e.g. A/C Service Station (VAS 6007A).

Observe notes, refer to => [ Engine Compartment Refrigerant Circuit Components, 2 Zone and 4 Zone ] Engine Compartment Refrigerant Circuit Components, 2 Zone and 4 Zone

The tightening specification for bolts on the refrigerant lines to the A/C compressor is 20 ± 3 Nm.

2 Auxiliary component bracket for A/C compressor

3 O-ring

Always replace O-ring

4 9 Nm

5 Coolant pipe

6 9 Nm

7 40 Nm

8 20 ± 3 Nm

9 A/C Compressor

Removing:

- Removing ribbed belt.

- P.A.S. vane pump.

- Disconnect the connector on the A/C compressor.

Make sure the connector is secure on the A/C compressor.

- Remove the refrigerant line from the bracket - 10 - and - 12 -.

- Remove refrigerant lines from A/C compressor.

The bolt tightening specification is 20 ± 3 Nm.

13 Ribbed belt pulley - A/C system compressor

14 Dowel sleeves

Ensure correct seating in auxiliary component bracket and A/C compressor when installing.

15 25 Nm

16 40 Nm

17 9 Nm

18 Cover

19 9 Nm

20 Seal

Always replace seal

Ensure correct seating in auxiliary component bracket when installing.
