Generator, Checking

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051A)

• Diagnostic Cable (VAS 5051/6A)

- Connect (VAS 5051A). Refer to => Electrical Equipment General Information 97 Description and Operation.

Select "Guided Fault Finding" in the (VAS 5051A).

After all control modules have been checked:

- Using the "Go To" button, select "Functions/Component selection" and the following menu options in sequence:

• Body

• Electrical Equipment

• 27 - Starter, power supply

• Electrical Components

• Generator (GEN) -C-

- Or, in (VAS 5051A) , select operating mode "Guided Functions".
