Technical Background

Touareg 2 (7L6) headlight assembly removal has changed from 7LA removal instructions.

Production Solution

No production change required.

Service





Unplug harness from headlight assembly.





Unlock headlight from mounting, by moving lever in the direction of arrow.





Pivot front of headlight assembly away from center of vehicle.





After headlight assembly has pivoted to limit, slide the assembly forward to remove from mounting.





Headlight assembly can now be serviced outside of vehicle.
