Rear Lid Handle, Spare Wheel Mounting on Rear Lid

Removing





- Remove the rear lid trim panel.

- Disconnect harness connectors present.

- Depending on vehicle equipment, disconnect wiring harnesses of electrical components installed.

- Remove two bolts - 2 - and two hex nuts - 4 -.

- Remove the bracket - 3 -, pivot the handle - 5 - downward and remove it from the rear lid.

- The following locking and unlocking components are on vehicles without a spare wheel mounting on the rear lid. For removing and installing, refer to => [ Locking and Unlocking Components ] Locking and Unlocking Components.

Installation

To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.

- Tightening specification: Bolts - 2 - and hex nuts - 4 - 8 Nm.
