Headlamp Mount

• The illustration shows the removal of the right headlamp mount. The same procedure is used to remove the right headlamp mount.

Removal

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Remove front bumper cover.

- Remove bumper lower assembly component guide profile.

• For overview purposes, the headlamp mount is shown removed.

- Remove four mounting bolts and remove mount - 1 - forward out of body opening.






Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Check installation position of headlamp for uniform gap dimensions.

If headlamp has an uneven gap dimension to the body, installation position must be corrected. Refer to => [ Headlamps, Correcting Installation Position ] Headlamps, Correcting Installation Position.

- Check headlamp for function.

• If headlamp mount is removed, headlamp must always be adjusted after installation.

- Check the headlamp adjustment and correct it if necessary. Refer to Maintenance Procedures; Rep. Gr. 03.
