Tire, Mounting, with Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Generation 1

• Note information on tire mounting. Refer to => [ Tires, Mounting ] Tires, Mounting.

- Release air from tire before demounting, remove valve insert to do so.

- Be sure that contact between tire and tire pressure sensor is avoided during work sequence.

- When cleaning the disc wheel (rim), the tire pressure sensor must not get in contact with water and must not be blown with pressurized air.

Tire, Pressing Off

- Press off tire on inside and outside opposite to metal valve.

Tires, Dismounting

- Turn wheel on tire mounting device so that valve/tire pressure sensor is in front of mounting head.

- Dismount tires.

Tires, Mounting

- Turn wheel on tire mounting device so that valve/tire pressure sensor is opposite to mounting head.

- Mount tire, inflate to prescribed tire pressure and balance wheel.

- Install wheel and tighten. Refer to => [ Wheel Bolt Tightening Specification ] [1][2]Specifications.
