Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench 2 to 10 Nm (V.A.G 1783)

Removing

• Removing and installing the left fender brace is described here. Removing and installing the right fender brace is identical.

• Fender is removed.

- Remove the bolts - 2 - and the fender brace - 1 -.






Installation

- Attach the fender brace - 1 -.






- Screw - 2 - tightening specification: 7.5 Nm.

- Fender brace is fitted together with fender to hood and bumper:=> 00 Technical data; body gap dimensions; Body Front
