Fuel Filler Door Unit

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Socket wrench (T 10010)

Removing






- Remove the fuel cap.

- Remove the screw - 2 -.

- Press down the fuel filler tube boot - 3 -.

- Remove the fuel filler door unit - 1 - with the water drain hose toward the rear - arrow a - out of the retainer and remove the fuel filler door unit - 1 - from out of the side panel - arrow b -.

Installation






• Assembly piece - 5 - is clipped in the side piece - arrow a -.

- Insert the water drain hose - 3 - through the opening in the fuel filler door unit and pull the water drain hose through to the stop.

- Insert the water drain hose - 3 - into the side panel.

- Insert the fuel filler door unit - 1 - first with the hinge side into the side panel - arrow b -.

- Then tilt the fuel filler door unit completely into the side panel - arrow c -. Ensure that the retaining hooks lock correctly in the side panel.

- Pull the rubber piece - 2 - over the filler tube - 4 - and tighten the bolt.

Tightening specification for bolt - 2 - 1.5 Nm.
