Removing






- Remove the rear lid trim panel..

• Unclip the emergency release cable - 4 - on the lock while removing the rear lid trim panel.

- Disconnect the connector - 5 - from the rear lid lock - 1 -.

- Remove the nuts - 3 - and then remove the rear lid latch - 1 - from the rear lid.

Installation






- Attach the rear lid latch - 1 - to the rear lid and install the nuts - 3 -.

- Hex nut - 3 - tightening specification: 8 Nm.

- Install the release cable in the latch - arrow b - and lock it - arrow a -.

- Connect the connector - 5 - to the rear lid latch - 1 -.

Install in reverse order of removal.

• Perform a function test on the unlocking components before closing the rear lid.
