Release Element

• If the rear lid does not open, use the emergency release inside the rear lid trim and open it manually. Refer to the Owner's Manual.

Removing






- Remove the rear lid trim panel..

- for the work procedures for the unlocking element with a rearview camera.

- Disconnect harness connector - 3 - from unlocking element - 1 -.

- Remove the bolts - 4 -.

- Remove the unlocking element - 1 - from the rear lid.

Installation






Installation of unlocking element - 1 - is the same in reverse order.

Screw - 4 - tightening specification: 4 Nm.

- for the work procedures for the unlocking element with a rearview camera.

• Perform a function test on the unlocking components before closing the rear lid.
