Roof Trim Strip

Removing






- Remove B-pillar trim. Refer to => [ B-Pillar Trim ] B-Pillar Trim

- Pull the front inner door seal - 5 - out from the roof molding, refer to => [ Inner Door Seal ] Inner Door Seal, and remove the rear inner door seal from the roof molding, refer to => [ Inner Door Seal ] Inner Door Seal.

- Remove the rivets - 2 -, saving the center one for last.

- Remove the roof molding - 1 - from the roof pillar - 4 -.

Installation






- Attach the roof molding - 1 - to the roof pillar - 4 -.

- Secure the first rivet to the centering hole - 3 - in front of the B-pillar.

- Secure the next rivet - 2 - next to the centering hole. First secure the roof molding - 1 - working toward the front, then tighten while working toward the rear.

- Install the inner door seals, making sure that the seal - arrow a and b - is seated correctly. To do this, assemble the inner door seal with the trim removal wedge (3409) and then press the seal tightly into the roof molding.

- Install the trim on the B-pillar, refer to => [ B-Pillar Trim ] B-Pillar Trim
