Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench 2 to 10 Nm (V.A.G 1783)






Removing

- Remove the bolts - 4 -.

- Slide the trim removal wedge (3409) into the retainers - 2 - between the radiator grille and the bumper. Pull radiator grille - 1 - slightly forward - arrows - to release catches - 2 -.

- Slide the trim removal wedge (3409) into the retainers - 3 - between the radiator grille and the lower air intake. Pull radiator grille - 1 - slightly forward - arrows -.

- Remove the radiator grille - 1 - from the bumper cover - 3 -.

Installation

- Press all of the hooks tightly into the retainers in the bumper cover.

- Check that the hooks are securely seated.
