Mirror Cap Assembly Part

• The turn signal and the entry lamp is installed in the assembly part.

• The turn signal and the assembly part are one component. The turn signal cannot be replaced separately.

• LEDs with a long service life are installed in the side turn signals instead of standard bulbs.

• Because of that, it is not necessary to replace bulbs. If damaged, the entire turn signal must be replaced together with the assembly part.

• The following describes removing and installing the left assembly part. Removing and installing the right assembly part is identical.






Remove the assembly part with the turn signal

- Remove the mirror glass. Refer to => [ Mirror Glass ] Mirror Glass.

- Remove trim. Refer to => [ Mirror Cap Trim ] Mirror Cap Trim

- Remove mirror housing.

- Release the hooks - 4 -.

- Remove the assembly part with the turn signal - 2 - from the mirror base.

Remove the entry lamp

The lower housing part must be removed in order to remove the entry lamp.

- Slightly raise the entry lamp - 2 - - arrow a - and then remove it from the lower housing section - 2 - - arrow b -.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal.

• Then the functionality test is performed.
