Signal Horns

• High Tone Horn (H2) and Low Tone Horn (H7) are activated in parallel by Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519).

• Removal and installation procedure for both horns is the same.

• High Tone Horn (H2) is installed at left and Low Tone Horn (H7) is installed at right, next to radiator.

Removing

- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and move the ignition key or start button into the 0 position (preliminary engaged position).

- Remove the noise insulation.

- Disconnect electrical connection - 2 -.






- Remove the bolt - 1 - and the horn - 3 - with the bracket.

Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Tighten the bolt - 1 - connecting the bracket to the body to 20 Nm.
