Tire Dismounting, When Filled with Sealant
Tires which have been filled or sealed with tire sealant, must be drained before removing the tire from the wheel.
• Prevent the tire sealant from making contact with eyes and skin.
• It is harmful to health, can cause eye irritation and allergies.
• Wear protective gloves and glasses when removing the tire.
- Set the wheel on an even surface.
- Remove the valve stem insert.
- Carefully drill a hole in the tire in the area of the shoulder using a suitable drill.
- Hold the wheel over a drip tray and allow the tire sealant to drain.
- Remove the tire from the rim.
- Clean the rim, for example, using a damp cloth.
