Metal Valve Body

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1410)

Removing

- Remove the tire pressure sensor. Refer to => [ Tire Pressure Sensor with Metal Valve, Service Version ] Tire Pressure Sensor with Metal Valve, Service Version.

- Remove the nut - 1 - from the metal valve.






- Counter hold - arrow - the metal valve using a retainer (for example 2 mm spiral bore) while doing so.

Installing

• Only apply the specified torque to tighten the nut for the metal valve. Tightening more is not permitted because it damages the seal.

- Tighten the nut - 1 - to the metal valve.






- Counter hold - arrow - the metal valve using a retainer (for example 2 mm spiral bore) while doing so.

- Install the tire pressure sensor. Refer to => [ Tire Pressure Sensor with Metal Valve, Service Version ] Tire Pressure Sensor with Metal Valve, Service Version.
